- I've used a couple of them (QuietSCSI, NoiseSaver) They work fine, no
- conflicts, very handy to spin the drive down if it sits inactive for long
- periods during the day. I don't have the best answer for how frequently you
- should spin them down before it causes more wear and tear than just running
- them all day. I have two office machines that are on all day, with the
- drives set to spin down after half an hour. Never a problem after 2 years.
